Implementation

We guide our clients to develop clear project plans, ensure system readiness by preparing teams for change so that plans become actions and goals are realized.

Public Consulting Group

JLA was engaged by Public Consulting Group (PCG) to design and partner on the execution of NY State Department of Health 2018 & 2019 Annual DSRIP Learning Symposia and 2019 NY Medicaid Population Health Symposium.

These high-profile 2-day events, with attendance of upwards of 700 people each, convened health care leaders, providers, consumers, community-based organizations, payers and policy makers from across New York to showcase successes, facilitate shared learning and disseminate best practices associated with the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program.

We worked with the multiple stakeholders, including a Performing Provider System advisory group, to create a vision for each event and developed a program to meet this vision. To close out each event, we gathered real-time feedback from participants to assemble lessons learned and prepare a final summary report that PCG used to share the highlights of each event with New York State Department of Health Medicaid Leadership.

Northeast Business Group on Health

The Northeast Business Group on Health (NEGBH) engaged JLA to develop content to help employers determine what ‘value’ in cancer care really means.

In preparation for NEBGH’s Value in Cancer Care: Roundtable Discussion, we reviewed literature, advised on the design and implementation of a stakeholder survey, and conducted key informant interviews with a range of stakeholders to understand the employer, provider, insurer and patient perspectives. After the Roundtable, JLA documented the proceedings and collaborated with NEBGH on synthesizing findings in order to  draft the NEBGH toolkit, Delivering Value in Cancer Care, The Employer Perspective.
