Improvement Theory
JLA specializes in collaborative learning and innovative strategies for change. We encourage the use of a rapid-cycle improvement methods to promote learning, adaptation and informed decision-making to set the foundation for successfully implementing and sustaining new strategies. We apply principles of measurement for improvement and leverage implementation learnings to maximize the impact of change. We build on results to get to scale.
Systems Thinking
JLA designs solutions for complex systems. We engage a network of diverse stakeholders in problem-solving, developing solutions that work across sub-systems, fostering system-wide planning, evaluation and change. In each stage of our work, we strive to center the human side of the system and leverage participant knowledge and expertise when designing solutions.
Collaboration
Our collaborative approach to working with client teams builds capacity and achieves improvements that last. In order to realize desired outcomes, individuals must fully engage in the change process. Our goal is to transfer skills to the clients and provide opportunities for continuous learning during the engagement so improvement continues long after our work is over. An investment in JLA is an investment in learning.
